Home 2
Thanks for all your 'welcomes'! It has indeed been wonderful to poke about own own abode - even doing laundry and dishes have been great - I guess it's that nesting instinct! The whole event that was Friday really took the wind out of Linda's sails and it took all weekend before she was feeling even semi-normal - and that's 'still recovering semi-normal'. She's been mainly eating and sleeping and being in charge of the shooter. We went for the Doc appointment today and she's scheduled for a CT scan on Friday so we'll know next week about the wretched fistula (amazed that there was disagreement about me naming it!! LOL) and the collection. Doc F looked quite surprised when I handed over the 4 inch thick ream of reports. But we're not seeing any signs of infection or problems, just tiredness so we're going to lay low for a few more days. Looking forward to seeing friendly faces soon!!

The normal drudgery of laundry and cleaning must seem "great"! And as for Linda being so tired... gee, I don't get that ;) Get PLENTY of rest so's you're lookin good for that scan on Friday. We're looking forward to seeing you too (two)!!! love you guys.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're getting back into routine.
ReplyDeleteI saw a commercial for a show that Linda would be interested in. I think it's called "Unpoppable" or something like that. It will show on TLC on Feb. 4th. It shows people using balloons to create different things...totally up her alley! I believe I saw a fire truck made out of balloons...very cool!!
Looking forward to seeing you two (when fully rested and ready) and introducing Linda to baby Lucas (the boss).
So good to know you are home and enjoying the simple chores it's a part of nesting I think. Take your time with visiting and outings and we will continue to communicate via the blog until you are both very well rested and are up to visitors or coming over for visits. Take care of yourselves and Enjoy your "home sweet home". Big Hugs from Ren and Den
ReplyDeleteWonderful, you're home! That's the best news of 2011. Look forward to the continuation of 'the blog' as it has become required reading and withdrawal would be immanent. Thank you for the GREATEST news.
ReplyDeleteWho doesn't like Frederick for a name?
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that being home is feeling wonderful for you both.
Good luck with the scan and appointment. I wonder if the doc will have to take home the 4 inch ream of reports to read like we have to do with all our extra bits or if its like school and really that stuff can't leave the building? Curious me. Let us know how you are getting on. Big hugs.
REST..RELAX...REJUVINATE....
ReplyDeleteNesting sounds good to me too (:
Love to you both XOXOXOXOXOXOX
