So I got a BIG smile from Linda this afternoon when I came back to the hospital with a new MEC jacket as an early Xmas giftie. She tried it on, modeled it and pronounced it a perfect fit!
The Team was by this morning and were quite happy with what is draining from the Cooks. And they expressed (again) how pleased they are with her quick 'bounce-back'. Still some pain around that 1 drain, but no nausea, no weakness, no temperature.
I love MEC, grrreat quality stuff.
ReplyDeleteGlad it's going well

You're a gem! big hugs to you friend.
ReplyDeleteWe love MEC, but have such a hard time actually driving to the store in Calgary - all those one way streets! Hoping you get a little spoiled with some early Christmas gifts too Lorraine!

You're such a great Santa, Lorraine, and always have been! And knowing you, you likely enjoyed thinking about Linda and shopping for the gift as much as you enjoyed giving it!
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to hear all the "thumbs up" updates from today's team. Great news!
Linda & Lorraine Great to read your post yesterday linda. At least when you look out the window you can see the skyline unlike a couple of weeks ago. Winter is deinitely here in the Peg, lots of snow and a little chilly. Linda you can do Xmas shopping the way I do, online. No lines, just point and click. Glad to hear everything continues in the right direction. Both of you take care. Time to take the new puppy for her morning walk/run.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda and Lorraine: Well, I had the most delightful visitors yesterday. Liz and her two roomates Coadie and Chicklet dropped by for a cup of tea and a visit. They are becoming good little walkers and they were thrilled to sniff all four corners of our house. They followed me upstairs which Will seldom did and they were very curious about the whole place, eventually they settled in at Liz's feet and had a snooze. It was nice to have a part of you here. We think of you often and are so happy to read your daily blog. Linda, It's great to have you writing as well. Keep getting stronger! Love Ren and Den
ReplyDeleteThings are sounding good your way. Linda it sounds like you have taken control! That sounds weird but I think you two know what I mean! The pooches were here by themselves today and Joanna came over several times to let them out and have puppy time. We are now home with a fire going and they are very happy to flop all over us.Some dogs like to almost get around your neck! I wonder who that is? Keep up all the positive work you two . Love Liz and Jim
