Baking #1

Just made Ricotta Cookies from the Canadian Living Holiday Cookies - yummy! And the icing for them is soooo fluffy and light (I added some lemon zest and juice to citrus it up a bit). Another recommendation - the French Chocolate Bark from Ina's back to basics cookbook. Feels good to be baking!

  3. yummy is right! Hope you can see the pic of my Christmas monkey. I'm always so amazed by the baking, shopping, card sending and letter writing that gets done (seemingly) earlier every year! Man, I can't wait to get work over with so that I can start to think of other things. My Christmas letter became a New Year's one a long time ago :) Only 4 more sleeps...

  4. Ok, I may have to come and be an official tester! This is killing me!
I will look for that set of recipes, though really how much time do Ihave to bake it all? Glad to hear the sunshine in your voice Lorraine! It comes through loud and clear!
I agree with Patti about all the stuff that gets done, most of it is not done by me, New Year's is my goal for the letter/card thing for though I think it very important, sleep is a thing I cannot totally forgo!
Enjoy the baking and give Linda a hug for us.
